A walk in the heart of Florence in the footsteps of Dante, along the streets that saw him born and grow up. A guided tour on Dante Alighieri in the medieval quarter of Florence.

Following the quotes from the Divine Comedy that we find in the medieval quarter of the city we will discover the life of the Supreme Poet. We will talk about his meeting with Beatrice, the characters and events of the time, which inspired his works. A real leap back in time, to the Florence of the tower houses, the one in which merchants and bankers got rich and ended up making corruption and greed prevail.

During the 1900s, the Municipality of Florence took the initiative to place a series of stone plaques in memory of these places in the streets and squares of the city. Following these plaques we will discover where Dante and Beatrice lived and where they met and fell madly in love. We will talk about some of the characters that Dante meets on his journey through hell, purgatory and heaven.
