TERMS OF TRAVEL:

 

We look forward to your interest in a trip with Mugello&Tuscany and we thank you for your confidence.
Below you will find the terms and conditions of Mugello&Tuscany. These “Conditions of Travel” apply to all participants booking a trip through the Tour Operator Mugello&Tuscany and/or to the offers which it refers to. We recommend that you read the following terms and conditions of travel very carefully.

1. CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT

1.1 When booking as a client of Mugello&Tuscany  you are accepting the “general conditions of travel”. The contract is concluded with the notification of acceptance by Mugello&Tuscany.
When booking via e-mail or through our website you will receive an explicit confirmation of registration. If you have booked for more tour participants, you will answer for their contractual obligations as for yours (in particular as regards the payment).

1.2 When booking you are required to release the names of the passengers and the documents used for travel (passport, identity card etc.).

 

2. TEMPORARY BOOKING

In the case of a temporary booking Mugello&Tuscany, without obligation on the part of the applicant, reserves the right to hold your reservation until a specified date. Unfortunately, for special promotions we cannot normally accept requests for temporary bookings (exceptions will be made available upon request).

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

3.1 Unless otherwise stated, our prices are per person in Euro. All prices include VAT and are cash prices. For payment by credit card a surcharge can be added.

3.2 Terms of Payment

3.2.1 Advance: By confirming the booking a deposit of 25% of the package price agreed must be paid. For bookings within 30 days of departure, the full amount must be paid.

3.2.2 The final payment is to be made 30 days before departure. Unless otherwise agreed, the necessary documents will be delivered or sent to the receipt of payment for the full amount of the invoice. Delayed payment authorizes us to refuse travel services.

3.3 Price Changes

3.3.1 For some of the following cases, we reserve the right to increase the prices indicated: in case of change of tariffs by the transport company (eg fuel surcharge), the price increases of public administration (eg ‘ VAT), extraordinary hotel price increases, plausible and explainable printing errors or  by changes in exchange rates.
3.3.2 If Mugello&Tuscany must change the prices indicated for the reasons mentioned above, you will be told this price increase at least 3 weeks before departure. If the price increases by more than 10% of the arranged initial rate, you have the right to cancel the contract within 5 days after receiving the notice. In this case Mugello&Tuscany  will refund payments already made by you as soon as possible.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY / CHANGES BEFORE DEPARTURE BY THE CUSTOMER

The customer has the right to terminate the contract at any time before departure. In essence, a cancellation or amendment must be communicated in written form (we recommend a receipt mail / registered mail with return receipt).

4.1 Contract’s recession
Mugello&Tuscany avails itself of the possibility to have the right to seek compensation for a cancelled tourist package, taking into account the following compensational rates. The communication must take place 1/one working day before the start of the trip.

We will announce as follows:
up to 30 days before the departure date of 30%
29-22 days before departure date 50%
21-11 days before departure date 70%
10 days before the departure date 100% of the price of the trip.
No refunds will be provided after that time.

4.2 Cancellation of a single service.

In case of cancellation of a single service (eg. Transport, activities, accommodation) or for any change requested by the customer, will be charged to the customer for € 50,00 per person.
In addition Mugello&Tuscany will charge  the customer the amount actually paid by the tour operator to provide a specific service canceled, as well as the individual share of service  management.
5. RESPONSIBILITY 

Mugello&Tuscany is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, breakdowns, road conditions, weather or other conditions beyond our control.
